In the works...

So in 2 weeks AIM will be purchasing my plane ticket for Swaziland, which means that I need to have raised enough money for them to purchase my ticket. This is where friends and family come in. I know that I sent out support letters with response cards but I wanted to make this option available for you also. I not only need financial support but prayer, as there is so much that goes into a trip like this. So if you are not able to give financially I covet your prayers! But, if you would like to support me monetarily on my trip, you can click here Once on that page you will be asked to select the program you wish to donate to, from the drop down menu and you will select "Real Life" and then enter my first and last name. I will continue to update this as often as I can and whenever I find out more details I think you might like to know. Also my team will have a blog while we are in Swaziland that is already set up and I will be posting on that as well as on my own. Here is the link for our team blog.

Patiently Waiting

I want to start my saying thank you for being interested in what I am doing in the spring! I wanted to keep this blog while I am in Swaziland because it will be the best way for me to update everyone at once on how life is there. I'm not sure how often we will even have internet access but I will definitely update it as much as I can. I don't have much to write about now because obviously this semester isn't even over yet but I can tell you that I am so looking forward to my trip. I have noticed a trend lately; as I am studying and getting so tired of it, I find my mind wandering to thoughts of Swaziland. But, I know that I need to stay focused on school which is really hard not only because there are only 2 1/2 weeks left in the semester but also because I can't wait for Africa!
