A Few More Weeks

So the time is drawing near for me to leave for Swaziland. I leave 2 weeks from this coming Monday and the realization of that is exciting and scary at the same time. There is so much I want/need to do before I leave, and the biggest is to finish my support raising. If you could pray that God will provide all the funds I need to make this trip I would so much appreciate it. It has been hard trusting that the money will come, no matter how much it is. So, if you think about me and my trip pray for that please! I have really enjoyed being home with my family and friends and know it will be hard to say bye to everyone for 3 months but I absolutely can't wait to be in Africa. I know I will be completely shocked when we arrive there, because I don't think anything can prepare me enough for the hurt and darkness there. BUT we desire to bring HOPE. It has been so encouraging to be able to meet my teammates through our team blog Adventures In Missions has set up for us, and so exciting to know that we will all be making this trek together. I do know that we are required to update our blog TWICE a week so you will definitely not be left without plenty of details about what my life will be like there. Which hopefully means I will be able to update this blog twice a week as well if I have time. The posts most likely will not be super long, but who knows.
